Topics include the status of Codes by Boards that oversee areas of building construction and coordination of codes (BCCC).

While fire department access is one small part of the fire code, its requirements can have a drastic impact on a project – location of the building, interior layout, even landscaping choices. This presentation will give an overview of the requirements, including Massachusetts-specific amendments, with suggestions and past successes in meeting the local fire departments’ needs while still maintaining design objectives.
