This is a special joint meeting of the Codes Committee and the Historic Resources Committee.

For this first session of the 2019 Codes Committee’s annual cycle of code presentations, Codes Consultant Doug Anderson will focus on the code provisions governing Historic Building preservation.

This presentation will address the code definition of Historic Buildings, which codes specifically address Historic Buildings, and which do not. In addition, Doug will discuss different code provisions for each regulation and address issues of Non-compliance with a focus on Compliance Alternatives, Code Variances, and Alternate Means and Methods.

As a complement to the presentation our speaker will provide a PDF to all attendees who request it.
