Age-Friendly, Universal Design Charrette

The February 2018 Design for Aging committee meeting will be a Hands-on experience.
On Tuesday, February 20, 2018, The BSA will host a Design Charrette to develop an Age-Friendly, Universal Design housing model as part of Boston's effort to achieve AARP and World Health Organization, Age-Friendly City status.
To allow us sufficient time to review, discuss, sketch and present our ideas the event will start earlier than the normal meeting time. We will get together at 3:30 at BSA Space and end around 6:45 PM.
If you are not able to attend the entire session – join us anyway whenever you can.
This will be a joint effort between the BSA's Access and Design for Aging Committees. Attendees will be given basic parameters, break down into groups to explore alternatives, make recommendations and seek consensus. Aging and accessibility experts will be among those participating in addition to representatives from Boston's Department of Neighborhood Development (DND) and Age-Friendly Boston.
