How to Specify Door Hardware

Welcome to the Residential Design Committee Summer Fling! Over the next several hours you will be able to learn about several aspects of residential design including hardware, kitchen and bath specifications and design. We begin with an in-depth look at how to write professional and accurate hardware specifications as part of your residential design. James Dozois, our Baldwin Hardware representative from The Sales Group in Providence RI will be hosting our event. James has years of experience specifying and selecting hardware for a variety of residential designs. He will lead us through discussion of door terminology, reviewing types of locks and trims, as well as the variety of hardware finishes. After this presentation you will be able to distinguish the quality of various hardware so that you can make sure that your clients are getting the look and the quality that they expect.

For those who qualify, 1 LU is available.
