Professional Guidance for Independent Practitioners

Striking out on one’s own to find a firm often means leaving opportunities to be mentored by the senior members of an organization. Founders often need to be more pro-active in seeking professional advice.

This month, as part of an ongoing effort to help find guidance and peer support for small practice leaders, local members of the AIA College of Fellows will share some thoughts on starting and running a firm and to talk about how they found advice as they developed their practices. This session will be an informal question and answer discussion, so come with questions about any challenges you’ve faced while building your practice.

If you’d like to share your questions beforehand with other members of the group or continue the discussion after the meeting, join the BSA Small Practices Network LinkedIn discussion group.

For those who qualify, 1.5 LUs are available
