Professional Agreements for Single Family & Small Projects

How a firm handles its business issues is critical to the success of the any firm. Having clear and detailed agreements with clients, consultants, and others with whom you do business are important to protect your firm and also your clients’ interests.

Please join Peter Longley AIA on February 19th to learn what elements go into a successful proposal, contract, or letter of agreement. Pete will review the various types of agreements that can be used, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each. He will outline elements of a good agreement/contract. Included in the discussion will be "deal breakers" - items to never include in your agreements as well as recommendations for clauses/paragraphs that should be included. You should be able to leave this session with a full knowledge of how to improve your contracts and/or letters of agreement.
