Reducing Data Backup Times with Disk Deduplication

Please join us for our January IT Wizards Meeting where we discuss the challenges of Data Backup with large data sets. Our Presenter will be Exagrid, an industry leader in data backup and deduplication. We will discuss and identify the 3 different types of data backup methods most commonly deployed in firms and define the pros and cons of each backup method. After this interactive discussion participants will be able to identify at 3 tell tale signs that their data backups are in need of disk-based data deduplication, calculate the appropriate backup performance criteria for their respective data backup sets and determine the optimum backup procedure that fits their criteria, and develop and implement their own backup procedures utilizing data disk deduplication strategies.
