Academic housing is a critical pedagogic tool lying at the center of the creation and dissemination of knowledge. If its historic role in supporting American academic excellence has been secure, it is now, in the age of hybrid virtual/physical education, fast becoming a primary site for instruction which rationalizes and underpins the value of physical campuses. This two-day program will explore the synthesis of living and learning environments and the emerging factors influencing their future planning and design. The program is designed to stimulate and inspire all those interested in anticipating the future educational configurations of institutions including architects, designers, planners, college and university administrators, real estate officers, developers, programmers, and market analysts.
