Future Prep 101: How to Prepare Teens for Design Careers is a half-day workshop that exposes high school students and their parents to multiple disciplines, including architecture, interiors, graphic and environmental design, landscape architecture, fashion and sneaker design, automotive design, and industrial design.

The goal is to encourage and assist in the development of the next generation of leaders and collaborative, creative problem solvers. The workshop, led by Aisha Densmore-Bey Assoc. AIA, explains the design process, what tools designers use, and what designers do for their communities. Students learn how to select a design program at the college/university level and discover preparatory steps they can take while in high school.
