Spring 2019 Watershed Resiliency Forum

Preparing for a changing climate will require a level of preparedness only possible through an interdisciplinary, multi-sectoral approach, with dedicated leadership and funding to drive projects through implementation. As the scale of the challenge is large, so too must be the scale of the actions: only through watershed-level policy, action, and funding will lasting change occur.

This event will bring together decision-makers from Boston Metro region municipalities to re-imagine multi-hazards such as sea level rise, inland flooding, increasing cloudburst and extreme heat events as opportunities for collaboration across neighborhoods from upstream to the water’s edges.

The presentation will be followed by a workshop where the speakers and the participants will explore motivational examples of watershed-scale resiliency efforts. Please join us!
