Massachusetts State Fire Code Highlights

In this presentation we will cover the highlights of the Massachusetts Comprehensive State Fire Code, which was recently amended to the 2021 edition of NFPA 1. In addition to the changes to the code such as a new standard for Energy Storage Systems, we will dive into the requirements that haven’t changed, but are critical for designers to consider for new and existing projects such as fire department vehicle access, safeguarding during construction, and hazardous materials considerations.
