Join us at Simpson Gumpertz and Heger for an afternoon of hands-on learning at their Applied Science & Research Center in Waltham. Attendees will participate in a wall workshop where they will be tasked with installing weather barriers and sealant products common to our industry. Attendees will also assist in performing qualitative and quantitative air tests on cladding support systems and a "mini" whole building air test.

Learning Objectives:
• Become familiar with the installation of common materials and practices.
• Review various cladding support system attachment methods.
• Understand the importance of performance testing.
• Understand the nuances of whole-building air testing.

Please note that we will be using materials that may stain clothing. Please dress accordingly and wear closed-toed shoes for this event. Feel free to bring your own PPE (safety glasses and gloves). Extra PPE will be available as needed.
