All interested members are invited to join us for an update on the legislative and regulatory issues that could have an impact on the way we practice architecture here in Massachusetts.

At our September meeting we will:

• Receive a legislative and regulatory update

• Review/Discussion: Proposed change to 248 CMR Plumbing code Section 10.10 (15) (h) to allow all-gender gang facilities (Meeting participants are encouraged to review the proposed change prior to the meeting and then share any technical concerns at the meeting)

• Discuss what are members hearing/saying in either support or opposition to the stretch and specialized energy codes (225 CMR 22.00 and 23.00)

As the sole committee of the Massachusetts chapter of AIA, the GAC's mission is to actively participate in the legislative and regulatory process and encourage public advocacy.
