The Project Management Panel Discussion is a part of the Annual BosNOMA Professional Development Series. This panel offers a platform for Project Managers from notable architectural firms in Boston to impart their insights, experiences, and best practices to emerging professionals within the field. Project Management is not a skill taught in architecture school, and our goal is to illuminate the role of a project manager and how management, not only design, shape the architectural profession.

Anticipating an interactive discourse, we aim to leverage the collective expertise and insight of our panelists. Topics of discussion will include a diverse range of subjects including the career path from a designer to a project manager, pro-bono and profitability, fee models, successful staffing, contracts, project management toolkits, and how to manage expectations and client/contractor/consultant relationships. We invite panelists to share any personal anecdotes and valuable lessons learned from years of experience.

This is a hybrid event during BosNOMA's monthly meeting.

Please note the October monthly meeting has been moved to November 1st. Please register here to receive a Zoom meeting or join through the existing invite if you already registered.
