Hosted by the co-chairs of the DfA Knowledge Community, please join us for a tour of the recently completed residential community, The Current at Weymouth, led by its Executive Director as well as members of the Smithgroup and Procon design teams.

Located at 1435 Main Street in Weymouth, “The Current at Weymouth” was designed to embrace this coastal community and reflect the rich marine industrial history of the town of Weymouth. This 173,000, 165-unit community has been welcomed by the town of Weymouth and will fulfill a vital need for seniors and families on Boston’s south shore. Coastal connection is communicated through the use of rope screen walls, shiplap ceilings, black anodized frames for interior glazing, and use of maritime blues as a connective palette. This vibrant senior living community supports the Monarch model of connectivity and wellness through a holistic approach to health, including amenities such as a fitness center and yoga studio, onsite exercise physiologist, juice bar, and welcoming public areas designed specifically for the co-existence of families, staff, and residents. This unique model of inclusion continues with the co-location of staff break/respite space within the leadership and sales offices, underscoring that all team members are highly valued members of the Monarch community.
