Event Description

Join us for a special behind-the-scenes walking tour of Boston’s newest public art experience – WINTERACTIVE!

Lace up your sneakers to explore Downtown Boston’s vibrant art scene! WINTERACTIVE is a much buzzed-about public art exhibition made up of artworks and play experiences in 16 sites throughout the Downtown neighborhood centered round Downtown Crossing. Presented by the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District (BID), WINTERACTIVE is inspired by the winter festivals and art experiences of Canada and features elements that light up, play music, and give us all an excuse to head outside in the winter. A member of the BID’s leadership team will lead the tour and share information on each of the many engaging elements of WINTERACTIVE. For more information, see website at winteractive.org.

The tour takes 60-90 minutes and will be at a slow walking pace on Downtown Boston’s flat, inviting streets. The Placemaking Network will host a Spring kickoff happy hour at a local venue after the tour. RSVP to attend, registration will be capped at twenty people. Event starting point to be emailed to attendees.
