The Energy Code is one of the most sophisticated and demanding documents in the Building Code. A blend of Architectural requirements, building enclosure requirements, and requirements for all of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and their related controls, this code mandates the collaboration and coordination of the entire design team.
In this fourth meeting in our annual cycle of code presentations, Stephen Turner, under the sponsorship of CLEAResult, will explore lighting and other electrical requirements of the IEC and address the following: Lighting controls, daylighting, code compliance pathways and alternatives, different power systems, energy efficiency packages, etc. Real project examples will be used to explore lighting code provisions and methodologies for calculating code compliance.
As a complement to the presentation Vernon will provide a PDF to all attendees who request it.
For those who qualify, 1.5 LUs are available.
