Taught by Jared Ramsdell AIA, of Touloukian Touloukian Inc., Multi(ply), a design class taught at Wentworth Institute of Technology, allows fourth-year architecture students to focus on everyday objects, including lamps and pavillions. The purpose of the course is to promote research in how geometries can be fashioned with simple tools and materials to increase the performance and efficiency of each constructed object.

For this exhibition, students have created light fixture shades that look at how lighting output would directly affect the physical environment through its variability, movement, and comfort. Visitors are encouraged to illuminate and experience these light fixtures while exploring the Salt Gallery.

Please join Wentworth Institute of Technology architecture students and faculty for a review of Multi(ply) on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 6:00 pm.
