BFE Architects in Lexington MA has an opening available for an in-office full-time Architectural Designer or Architect in our twelve-person office. Our award-winning firm has built a diverse project type portfolio, including Single Family Residences, Affordable and Assisted Living Housing, Educational and University Housing, Sacred Spaces, Adaptive-Reuse Structures, and other Commercial Projects. We have also recently designed and constructed Passive House level buildings as we strive to apply the best sustainable practices. BFE believes design is a collaborative process where communication and the expression of ideas bring out the best in projects.

BFE is seeking candidates with two to four years’ experience. Applicants should have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit, a diligent professional can-do attitude as well as the ability to work in a project team. Experience with Sketch-up and Adobe Suite is a plus. If hired, one can expect to experience the entire architectural process from initial client meetings through construction. Being a small office in an open studio lends itself to transparency of the goings-on of an architectural office by becoming an integral part of project teams. We seek people who are passionate about good design and want to learn how buildings go together.
