About This Position

We are seeking a Project Architect with 8 - 15 years of experience to join our team at our Boston location. Applicants passionate about residential design with a thorough knowledge of New England vernacular architecture are encouraged to apply.


As a Project Architect, you will lead in the design and management of projects from conception through completion. Your passion and ability to deliver design solutions are critical to ensuring that each design reflects our client’s goals and our commitment to excellence. You will be expected to be the primary client contact on projects maintaining clear lines of communication and setting appropriate expectations.

Skills

  • Proficient in Revit
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent Architectural Designer
  • Effective team collaborator with fellow designers, vendors, and contractors
  • Thoughtful and effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic mentor to junior staff

Experience & Education

  • 8 - 15 years of residential architectural work experience
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Architecture
  • Architectural licensure in Massachusetts preferred, not required
  • Demonstrated design proficiency experience with residential design
  • Working knowledge of the design and construction of a broad range of vernacular New England houses
  • Strong understanding of building technology
  • Knowledge of sustainable design principles is a plus.
  • Current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable practices.

Job requirements:

  • Full-time, 5 days a week in the Boston office with some flexibility for work from home.
  • Open to considering applicants seeking part-time employment.

Compensation:

  • Competitive 90k-120k
