MFDS is seeking an agile project architect (7 to 10 years) to join our practice in Boston. Come join our office for an active and expansive role in the projects you take on, working in small teams to strategize, design, problem-solve, and execute on multiple projects.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Technical proficiency, especially in Revit and drawing documentation
• A proactive and balanced approach to design and project execution

Role & Responsibilities:

• An active and involved role in all phases of a project
• Research and application of municipal initiatives and zoning and building codes
• Collaborating/coordinating with project lead and project manager on design solutions, overall objectives, and critical issues

• Management and production of drawings and presentations
• Construction administration
• Internal and external communication with design team, clients, municipal agencies

Requirements:

• 7 to 10 years professional experience
• Professional degree in architecture
