Monte French Design Studio (MFDS) is a collaborative studio working on several exciting, forward-thinking projects. With mass timber projects in development, a sustainable design ethos, and can-do mindset on every project we take on – we add value to project, community, and place through strategic thinking, proactive problem-solving, and designing with maximum impact.

About This Position

MFDS is seeking a junior architect (3 to 5 years) to join our practice in Boston. Come join our practice for an active and expansive role in the projects you take on with an eagerness to grow and learn, contributing in small teams to strategize, design, problem-solve, and execute on multiple projects.

Qualifications:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proactive ability for self-learning and self-awareness for when guidance is needed
Experience in Revit, 3D modeling, and Adobe CS
Strong design and graphics skills

Role & Responsibilities:

Design studies in coordination with internal team members
Content preparation and packaging for various presentations
Significant role (with guidance) in drawing production and documentation

Assistance in construction administration

Requirements:

3 to 5 years professional experience
Professional degree in architecture
