Carbon Leadership Forum (CLF) Boston
A BSA Knowledge Community and the Boston Hub of the Carbon Leadership Forum
CLF Boston is a group that shares knowledge and identifies actions—immediate and long-term—for the AEC industry to address issues of embodied carbon in the built environment in Boston and beyond. The group aims to reduce carbon emissions through design and through changes in procedural behaviors that impact carbon emissions.
CLF Boston meets every other month. Several working groups—focused on developing specific programs and resources—meet monthly.

Impact 2021 builds on the successful Embodied Carbon 101, a 12-part program that ran from June-August 2020. These discussions are open to all: practitioners, owners, residents/citizens, and policymakers. We invite participants to engage by sharing their ideas, experiences, and challenges. We invite everyone to join a community of like-minded people who want to address embodied carbon in their work NOW. Sessions will have slightly varying formats, but all will be moderated and occur virtually.
The CLF Boston Hub Impact Series is a forum-based opportunity to engage with key stakeholders working to address embodied carbon in their buildings. Each session is focused on a particular sector or building typology in order to address their unique opportunities & challenges. Through conversation and knowledge-sharing, we will identify critical actions to reduce embodied carbon.
