COVID-19 PPE Assistance Effort
In support of the Mass General Brigham Center for COVID Innovation, we would like to collect logistical information on equipment, materials, abilities, location, and a headcount of those available to help in the production of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The Center for COVID Innovation, together with a host of collaborators, is currently researching and vetting community-made PPE designs.
At this time, no community-made PPE designs have been approved for medical use by the Center for COVID Innovation. In preparation for approved PPE designs and a call to action to support the production of PPE, we aim to identify our collective resources to facilitate mobilization swiftly and effectively.
If able to assist, please fill out the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Rapid Response Form on our COVID Response Page as soon as possible.
You are also welcome to sign up for our COVID response email updates.
The following platforms have been identified as additional efforts to create and provide PPE:
Platforms for potential makers / donors:
- GetUsPPE: a national, centralized clearinghouse to enable makers and communities to Request, Give, or Make PPE for healthcare provider
Face shield designs (vetted by the National Institutes of Health and others):
Other PPE designs:
- Open Source COVID19 Medical Supplies
