In August 2020, the group released the BSA Equity in Practice Resource Guide as a collection of shared information for architects and architecture firms to help create a more equitable profession. It provides information and links for our membership to consider in an effort to help shape firm discussions, actions, and decision-making about equity within their firms, in their work, and in their communities. The BSA EDI Network is now proud to release a collection of firm sample policies, practices, and procedures for reference while shaping your own policies to encourage equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace. All are invited to reference these firm policies in updating your procedures to establish a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace.Sample policies have been provided on topics from equitable hiring practices, to flexible hours, to mentoring. This resource will grow as the EDI Network continues to analyze the AIA Guides to Equitable Practice each month and as more firms submit policies for reference. If your firm would like to share their policies or has any questions, please email EDI Network co-chair, Rachel Zsembery AIA.View Firm Examples of EDI Policies and Procedures here.*Additional policies were added in March 2021 and firms are invited to continue to submit reference policies and procedures.Topics Advancing Architecture Climate Equity
