The 17th International architecture exhibition, curated by Boston's Hashim Sarkis, will now run August 29 through November 29, 2020.

"The new dates of the Architecture Biennale have been established as a consequence of the recent precautionary measures on the subject of mobility taken by the governments of a growing number of countries in the world, which will have a chain effect on the movement of people and works in the coming weeks. This is a period that concerns the delicate start of the preparation of a complex international exhibition such as the Architecture Biennale, which involves architects and institutions from over 60 countries on all continents," La Biennale di Venezia said on its website.
