  • COST

$30 for BSA members ($40 for nonmembers)

Infrastructure investment is key to the future of the Commonwealth. Governor Charlie Baker’s budget includes $500 million in new infrastructure investment and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) is expanding the Green Line. While infrastructure is often viewed with focus on engineering, in fact much of its development includes architectural components. Come hear from three City of Boston leaders who are guiding significant Massachusetts infrastructure projects and learn how architects are crucial to their success.

Panel
Marggie Lackner, director of design and architecture, MBTA
Tom Tinlin, highway administrator, Massachusetts Department of Transportation
Vineet Gupta, director of policy and planning, Boston Transportation Department

About the Series
Each session of the new series focuses on a central theme, with a panel representing a range of market sectors. Client Conversations continues to connect building-industry professionals with high-profile clients from key New England market sectors; and this year, to widen the discussion, the BSA gives the stage to other players in the design industry.
