(Hour 1) This course provides an overview of the Integrated Building Envelope achieved through the understanding of Design, Material, and Installation to create Continuity in both the process and the building. Primary focus in understanding the material aspect will be the Physics of composite waterproofing systems. The course will be followed by a hands-on training using materials that each individual or group will need to pre-order (free of charge) by July 8, 2020.

(Hour 2) VIRTUAL IBE LEVEL III TRAINING COURSE TITLE: Pre-Applied Waterproofing Hands-On Training
If you choose to participate, you will be working with the materials used and evaluated in the “full-size blind-side mockup” while in the comfort of your home or office. Each individual or group participating in the training, after ordering, will receive a Virtual IBE Level III Training Pre-Applied Kit that contains the training mock-up materials necessary to assemble the mock-up

Presenters: David Leslie, RWC, Director of Technical Services & Product Management Architectural Division, Polyguard Products, Inc. and Joe Millican, South/Southwest Technical Field Specialist, Polyguard Products, Inc.

Mr. Leslie’s experience includes product development, contracting, and consulting. His 30 years of experience has provided him with a unique insight into numerous aspects of the building envelope. He is a published author, public speaker, expert witness, and holder of multiple patent applications. He is an active member of IIBEC (Registered Waterproofing Consultant #0043), ABAA including a former Licensed Field Auditor (#10124) and SWRI. It is his core belief that there is no good reason for a building to leak and has committed much of his career in keeping people dry.

Mr. Millican's experience includes product development and contracting which has provided him with numerous aspects of the roofing and waterproofing industries over the past 25 years. Mr. Millican's experience includes development of various products for Polyguard products, including patents for Polyguard's current Underseal® products. Mr. Millican continues to work closely with Polyguard's manufacturing and chemists to provide innovative products. Mr. Millican is focused on positively changing the building envelope industry by producing the industry with solutions to create a sustainable integrated building envelope.
