Gretchen Keillor, a planner and design strategist at Sasaki Associates will give an update on the Understanding Homelessness Project. This research project aims to overcome stigmas surrounding homelessness by creating a web-based interface that outlines:

  • A clear framework to discuss the context, realities, and challenges of homelessness;
  • A mapping comparison of the available data on homelessness; and
  • A database of successful examples, both design and policy-related, that can serve as a toolkit of ideas for designers, planners, and cities.

Join us to review the current progress of this research and share your own insights!

Rashmi Ramaswamy, will also share feedback from the Tiny Homes Conference.
