Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertops Factory Tour and Presentation

This tour will give our group an overview of the 145,000 square foot Metropolitan Cabinets & Countertopsfactory in Norwood, the largest of its kind in the Northeast, where cabinets are manufactured and countertops are fabricated. We will learn about the process of manufacturing custom cabinets, both framed inset and frameless overlay, using all American materials - including plywood, maple drawer boxes and cabinet doors. We will see how stock cabinets are assembled in the mill as well. All of the materials are cut on the latest computer-driven machinery, and everything is assembled by hand.

The stone fabrication shop features top-of-the-line tools, including waterjets, bridge saws and CNC machines, to produce incredible countertops, backsplashes and more.
