Are you in the middle of your Architecture Registration Examination ® (ARE®)? Are you planning on starting your AREs soon, but want more information on 5.0 before you begin?

Join this two-part event hosted by the Boston Society of Architects/AIA (BSA) Emerging Professionals Network. Guests are welcome to stay for one or both parts, and those participating in the ARE Success Team Kickoff must preregister using the Register link. All other guests should RSVP at [email protected].

Part 1: NCARB Update
Learn more about the structure and organization of the new exam system, as well as test-taking, materials, and transitioning as the ARE® makes the move from 4.0 to 5.0.

Part 2: ARE Success Team Kickoff
Form a team that will work together throughout the ARE process. Each team coordinates their own schedule to study together, sharing resources and tips to keep everyone on track. Joining a team means agreeing to meet with and support your team members through the completion of their exam series.

A library of Kaplan 4.0 and 5.0 study materials is available at the BSA offices for ARE Success Team members to borrow. A separate $90 fully-refundable deposit is required to use the ARE library. Study materials are available for two month loan periods. Only one set/topic area may be borrowed at a time. If you need to more time with the materials, you may request an extension. Email [email protected] or call 617-391-4000.

The BSA Emerging Professionals Network (EPNet) is a social and professional network of building industry professionals. Geared specifically toward recent graduates, Architectural Experience Program (AXP) participants, young architects, designers and other design build professionals, EPNet holds plenty of tours, presentations and firm visits each year.
