Please join us for a conversation with Tony Perez, Senior Associate at Opticos Design Inc., on enabling and implementing Missing Middle Housing (MMH). A transformative concept coined by architect and planner, Daniel Parolek, Missing Middle Housing highlights the need of diverse, affordable housing choices in sustainable, walkable places.

In this session you will hear more about integrating MMH in specific plans and zoning rewrites to remove barriers and encourage alternative housing typologies. In addition, Tony would be able to speak to his experiences working with private developers on finding the right sites, strengths and limitations of pattern books, and collaborating with municipal planners who often face the headwinds of community resistance against zoning changes.
