Sasaki rebranded in 2016, overhauled its digital presence in 2020, and the Communications team continues to expand upon Sasaki’s dynamic brand to achieve a greater presence in markets around the world.
Sasaki seeks a highly motivated Communications Content Coordinator to join our award-winning Marketing and Communications team in Boston, MA. Working closely with the Brand Content Manager, this position plays a key role in the coordination of the firm’s Marketing and Communications written and visual content, with a focus on Sasaki’s website and digital asset management (DAM) system.
Specific responsibilities for the role include:
- Review, edit, and publish new project pages on sasaki.com using WordPress.
- Update website content in line with the overall site content strategy.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for each channel.
- Curate and repurpose existing content for sasaki.com as appropriate.
- Write and publish awards-related content on Sasaki’s blog.
- Maintain and optimize visual resources (renderings, diagrams, photography) in OpenAsset—Sasaki’s digital asset management system.
- Assist Communications team in delivery of project award submissions.
- Support Sasaki’s Brand Content Manager with the creation of branded content, including ads, branded templates, and stationery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), writing for online media, and working knowledge of web management.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-directed work ethic and ability to drive progress and maintain momentum.
- A collaborative spirit and proactive mindset.
- A passion for and an ability to quickly grasp concepts within the design, architecture, landscape architecture and/or planning industries.
- Fluency with web design, online media, and metrics a plus.
