

About This Position
Business Intelligence Coordinator
Sasaki is an international design firm headquartered in Boston, MA, with locations in Denver, New York, and Shanghai. This new role works as part of Sasaki’s growing Operations team and collaborates across the firm’s operational departments, primarily Marketing, Accounting, Contract Administration, and the firm’s newly formed Project Management Office.
The Business Intelligence Coordinator will play a key role in helping the firm leverage the power of data to make decisions, with a specific focus on Marketing pipeline, project pursuit data, project backlog, contract status, and net service fee values.
Key responsibilities include:
● Collaborate with Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Marketing Managers, Contracts Administrator, and others to establish and maintain improved data workflows
● Take a lead role in developing forecasting tools and dashboards utilizing internal and external data sources
● Maintain data quality between Sasaki’s CRM and Accounting systems
● Help to reinforce data workflows with members of the Marketing, Contracts, and Project Management teams to ensure high quality, consistent entry of data across systems
● Create and run monthly backlog reports for review by firm’s senior leadership team
● Create and run Salesforce reports and update dashboards in support of ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, and year-end analyses
● Assist in preparing presentations summarizing key takeaways and recommendations based on analysis of data
● Understand Sasaki’s diverse services, market sectors, project types, and account types to make informed decisions about data entry, quality and analysis
● Collaborate with Sasaki’s Marketing team and stakeholders within the firm to improve and maintain contacts tracking in Salesforce
Your Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s Degree in economics, business, finance, or marketing or other majors with an analytical focus
● 2+ years of relevant experience working with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and/or accounting software
● Understanding of the basics of UX/UI in relation to developing/maintaining tools and dashboards
● Experience with data integration between data systems is a plus
● Experience developing data-backed tools through low code/no code is a plus
● Knowledge of professional services firm operations is a plus
● Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate within and across departments
● Passionate about data and its use in decision-making
● Rigorous attention to detail and commitment to information quality
