Charles River Commuter Ferry
By Nathaniel Bennett & Family
Bringing water travel to the future! Small commuter ferries on the Charles River running from Newton with stops in Watertown and Cambridge to Boston. Docks on both sides of the river picking up and dropping off commuters all throughout the day. By taking a ferry, avoid traffic and reduce the number of cars on the road.
Powered by solar panels on the roof of the ferries (blue tiles). Fully enclosed glass boats for riders to enjoy the natural beauty around the river. No traffic! No pollution! A perfect way for Boston to bring commuters into the city by using the river for transportation like early settlers did long ago but with modern comfort! My favorite part is the glass boats because they blend into the scenery and you get a great view as you float down the river.
