'Terminal E—Gingerbread in Flight' - speaks to Boston's continued presence as an international city. The new addition to Logan Airport is a new addition to the city skyline and a hub for international travel. As we look to visit family during the holidays air travel is a key mode of transportation to visit people out of state.
Our favorite part of the piece is the red terminal! It took time and care to get the pieces sculpted out and it was an experiment as well trying to get the right finish to reflect the existing structure. In addition to the terminal the penguins spilling the luggage carrier add whimsy to the scene.
