Storrowing Through the Snow

This gingerbread creation represents the Boston phenomenon: 'Storrowing'. The endless saga of box trucks attempting to move through Boston via Storrow Drive, only to crash into a bridge overhead. This transit nightmare begins when a clueless out-of-towner misses the many warning signs noting height limits throughout Storrow Drive. Sooner or later, the top of the truck is ripped off and the driver is stuck under the bridge backing up traffic for the many local Bostonians.

My favorite part of this creation is the homemade gingerbread footbridge and signage. Secondarily the two Boston sports teams reflected on the sides of the vehicles foreshadow their epic collapse and ineptitude.
