GingerBird House

Like many people I "escaped" 2020 by spending time outdoors and taking up a new hobby: birding. This gingerbread house reimagines the traditional sweet structure through creating a to-scale birdhouse complete with furnishings. Since I live in a very remote area, I had to use herbs and spices for decoration in absence of purchasable candy. The turmeric glaze wallpaper, rosemary wreathes, and herbed moss roof lend a very savory and satisfying flavor to this humble house.
