Sculpture (1969) and Church (2014), Ostra, Serbia, 2018, Archival print, $1,200.00

My work explores radical architecture that, due to war, economic and political forces, grows to represent alternate futures never pursued by society. I capture how these structures adapt over time as our world evolves in other directions. I currently study at the International Center of Photography in New York.

While the untrained observer may reasonably assume that the church is far older than the statue, it is in fact very new. "Monument to Courage" was constructed in 1969 to commemorate local WWII soldiers.
