2023 Gingerbread Design Competition Winners
The BSA is thrilled to announce the initial winners of this year's Gingerbread Design Competition & Exhibition.
The following winners were decided by a panel of transit (& gingerbread) experts and by dollars from generous donors, and people who voted with their "likes" on our Facebook album! All funds raised directly support the work of the BSA. We so appreciate your support.

Judges' Choice Award: South Station: Transporting Boston into the Future By CannonDesign
Jury comments: When you work hard and you think big, you get outcomes like the Big Dig and this gingerbread! They hid a lot of transportation modes in one trisect which is very impressive.
The Golden Whisk Award, for most amount of money raised goes to: Tunnel Love: Urban Ring at Ruggles Station by Leonardi Aray Architects with Anne McKinnon & Jeffrey Ferris
This creation raised a total of $1,100 from 51 individual contributions.
The Golden Spatula Award, for most number of contributions goes to Storrowing Through the Snow by MASS Architect
This creation raised a total of $895 from 88 individual contributions.
The People's Choice Award, for most number of likes on Facebook, goes to Gingerbread Junction: Whisking You to a Sweeter City by West Work

Honorable Mention for Most Multi-Modal
Boston Transithon
By William Rawn Associates
Jury comments: We were impressed with how many forms of transit are featured—it seemed they included almost every single mode possible! Bonus points that they were the architects who completed the BPL renovation so they're very familiar with the façade and detailed it nicely.
