Vectorworks+IFC=BIM

Brian Hores and Joe Marshall from Flansburgh Architects will share how successful projects are achieved through collaboration between the architect, owner, consultants, and contractor throughout the design process and beyond. BIM (Building Information Modeling) aids in the communication and coordination from concept through completion. The open-source IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) file format streamlines the sharing of building information. This session will demonstrate how to use the Vectorworks architectural model with other BIM, rendering, model checking, and design review software
