Come celebrate the Rotch Travelling Scholarship on November 1, 2018, 6:00–8:00 pm at the St. Botolph Club, 199 Commonwealth Avenue. We will be honoring long-term Rotch Vice President Steven Foote FAIA, and the publication of his new book, The History of the Rotch Travelling Scholarship, 4th Edition: 1980–2018. Hor d’oeuvres and beverages will be served.
The Rotch Travelling Scholarship is the oldest architectural traveling scholarship in America, established in 1883. It continues today to identify deserving young architects annually through a rigorous two-stage design competition. This reception will also be the beginning of our campaign of outreach to support the Rotch Travelling Scholarship to ensure its continued impact on the profession well into the future.
