Meet your guide at the George Washington statue in the Public Garden, at the corner of Arlington Street and Commonwealth Avenue

Join the BSA Foundation and Boston By Foot to explore Boston's grand boulevard, Commonwealth Avenue. The tour parallels the 19th century filling and development of the Back Bay from its origin at Arlington Street down seven blocks along the tree-lined, grassy Mall. See how careful effort over 150 years has preserved the grandeur of the Avenue.
