your churches, and your homes with Michael Ford Assoc. AIA. Ford will guide you through a day of music, hands-on design, and urban planning with a live DJ!

Students interested in design, graphics, and architecture will use hand drawing, 3D computer modeling, and music production as a tool to shape their community.

The Boston Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (BosNOMA), BSA Foundation, and MASS Design Group welcome Michael Ford Assoc. AIA to Boston to explore hip hop as a revolutionary approach to thinking about and creating architecture.

Michael speaks to the impact of three interconnected realms—education, practice, and media—and their potential to raise the cultural awareness of architectural practitioners and create opportunities to increase the recruitment, retention, and immediate contribution of underrepresented communities in the profession.

Mike Davis FAIA, president of Bergmeyer Associates and member of the BSA Foundation Board of Trustees, will introduce this multi-media event. A reception in the BSA Space Gallery will follow.

This event is a program of BosNOMA, the BSA, and MASS Design Group.
