Led by two global veterans of the hospitality design industry, this course will:

  • Lay the groundwork for understanding the hotel industry with specific terminology, a history of hospitality, current industry observations and trends.
  • Examine the Hotel Development Process from the perspective of the Developer, the Design Team and the Operator.
  • Present carefully selected Case Studies from around the world that illustrate solutions to a variety of sites and programs.
  • Engage attendees in a Design Charrette that will identify key factors affecting the development process.
