Tackling issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion can be daunting. Where does one start?
Join the Equity Roundtable for a discussion with Brooke Trivas Assoc. AIA, principal, Service+ Champion Boston, and Social Purpose Leader Boston at Perkins+Will, where she is a leader in the firm’s Diversity Council. Perkins+Will is leading the way to building a more equitable profession through outreach, education, and advocacy.
Brooke will be joined by James Kendall, current president of the African American Student Union at the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD), who is passionate about the intersection between design, engineering, and social justice.
They will lead a discussion about what firms can do from building a diverse, inclusive culture to retention to recruitment to outreach. The Equity Roundtable will discuss how firms can scale these efforts up or down depending on their size.
The discussion will be followed by smaller break-out conversations.
