Never before has a steel-framed high-rise building collapsed from fire. Why, then, did World Trade Center Building 7 collapse on 9/11? The collapse was attributed to normal office fires. Yet it occurred in the manner of a typical controlled demolition.

Part 1 will evaluate which of the two hypotheses — fire-induced failure or controlled demolition — is more consistent with the evidence. Participants will be encouraged to decide for themselves if a new investigation is warranted.

Part 2 will discuss the results of Dr. Hulsey’s computer modeling study. Dr. Hulsey will present his preliminary findings as to whether fires could have caused the collapse of WTC 7.

About the Speakers
Richard Gage AIA, is a San Francisco Bay Area architect of 28 years, a member of the American Institute of Architects, and the founder and CEO of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth), which today represents 2,700 architects and engineers. Mr. Gage has worked on most types of building construction, including numerous fire-proofed, steel-framed buildings. Since founding AE911Truth in 2006, Mr. Gage has delivered his live multimedia presentation more than 500 times in 37 foreign countries and 110 American cities to audiences ranging in size from 30 to 3,000.

Dr. Leroy Hulsey PE, SE, is chair of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF). During his 50-year career, Dr. Hulsey has taught at the University of Missouri at Rolla, North Carolina State University, and at UAF. He has served on numerous committees at UAF and in such organizations as the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Concrete Institute, and the American Council of Engineering Companies. In May 2015, with funding from AE911Truth, he began a computer modeling study to evaluate the possible causes of WTC 7’s collapse. That study is scheduled to be completed in April 2017.

For those who qualify, 1 LU/HSW is available for participation in Part 1 of the event.
