Introduction to Facilities Management

This presentation examines the scope of the professional facilities manager's responsibilities and the facility manager's role in relation to an organization's strategic plan (Facilities Management 101). The content provides a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts in facilities management and why a broad understanding of the responsibilities of the profession is valuable to architects, designers and all AEC professionals. Attendees will be introduced to the concepts needed to successfully organize, monitor, communicate and develop a good Facilities Management program.
