Tom Hopkins Hon. BSA, the Executive Director of the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board (MAAB), will join a joint meeting of the BSA Access Committee and the BSA Codes Committee. The MAAB, which is a regulatory agency within the Executive Office of Public Safety, promulgates regulations that are designed to make public buildings accessible to, functional for, and safe for use by persons with disabilities. Mr. Hopkins will discuss changing accessibility requirements in the Commonwealth and how the rules and regulations of the MAAB, codified in 521 CMR, may be updated in the future to align with the 2010 Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design.

For those who qualify, 1.5 LUs are available
