Continuing education credit is provided by Neolith®. This course offers one (1) hour of the following credits: AIA LU/HSW, ASID, IDC, IDCEC, and IIDA.

Both innovative and creative, the architecture and design community are particularly well placed to embrace the rapid rise of remote based learning. Supporting this, at Neolith®, the pioneering brand of Sintered Stone, we are offering a series of remote learning initiatives to help educate the architectural and design community on best practice when working with the material.

Sign up for a brief and personalized ‘Product Knowledge’ meeting with our expert Neolith representatives, as well as a series of continuing education group events with a focus on both local and national markets led by Travis Conrad, Head of Projects Division, North America.

You’re invited to participate in our informative, interactive online lectures and discussions, which will bring North America’s highly skilled construction and design professionals together to share and expand their knowledge of working with Sintered Stone.

During this presentation, we will cover the basics of Neolith. By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Give your clients added confidence when selecting Sintered Stone
  • Identify and explain the superior qualities and characteristics of Sintered Stone surfaces
  • Understand the manufacturing process of Sintered Stone surfaces
  • Appreciate how various aspects of Sintered Stone surfaces contribute to green and sustainable building design
  • Specify Sintered Stone surfaces in a variety of conventional and green buildings, and make appropriate selections for specific application.

We believe every member of your team has something to learn from this course and we look forward to meeting you all.

About Travis Conrad:
Travis – an active accredited presenter for the OAA on Rainscreen Education – has been working in the architectural community for over 10 years, with a special focus on ventilated façade products and systems.

He worked as a designer for Cornerstone Architecture for four years where he gained significant experience and knowledge in rainscreen building science and project tendering, and was involved in many unique assignments in design development and building modeling.

Travis then took up the position of Business Development Representative at Ontario Panelization for five years. In this role he worked with an array of rainscreen products and systems, from metal panels and exotic stones to building integrated photovoltaics and eventually Sintered Surfaces, for a variety of projects throughout North America.

Having developed a passion for sintered compact surfaces, he decided to start a new adventure in early 2015 with TheSize Surfaces as Head of Projects Division, North America. Here, he assists and educates the architectural community on how to use Neolith products for a wide range of applications.
